Christian comedian John Crist has a lot to celebrate these days. The 41-year-old entertainer, best known for poking fun at Bible Belt traditions and everyday church culture, recently announced his engagement to Nashville news anchor Lydia Fielder \u2014 a moment he says is the highlight of his life.<\/p>\n

Crist shared photos on social media of his proposal to Fielder, writing, \u201cThe best thing that\u2019s ever happened to me in my entire life by far, I love you so much @lyfeoflyd.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fielder echoed the joy in her own post, sharing, \u201cGod wrote it from the start \u2014 my first love is now my forever love. I do, John B. Crist.\u201d She also commented on Crist\u2019s announcement, saying, \u201cGod\u2019s redemptive plan, JB. I LOVE YOU!\u201d<\/p>\n
