A recent episode of South Park<\/em> has ignited a firestorm of controversy after portraying former President Donald Trump in bed with Satan and featuring a profanity-laced version of Jesus Christ giving legal advice to a town in crisis. The episode aired Wednesday night on Comedy Central, a day after Paramount announced a massive $1.5 billion deal to produce 50 more episodes of the show over the next five years.<\/p>\n

For Christian viewers, the episode’s irreverent portrayal of sacred figures\u2014especially Jesus Christ\u2014has struck a nerve. In one scene, Jesus urges townspeople not to oppose Trump’s lawsuit challenging faith-based content in their public school.
