Singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams, daughter of famed filmmaker J.J. Abrams, is speaking out against pornography, calling it “really dangerous.” In a recent interview<\/a> with Cosmopolitan magazine, the 25-year-old artist criticized the pervasive influence of pornography, especially its impact on young people.<\/p>\n

Abrams warned that pornography is “not real” and “a performance,” emphasizing the harm it can cause to impressionable minds. She reflected on her own early experiences, recalling how a sexually suggestive article in Cosmopolitan sparked her curiosity and led her to seek answers online\u2014something she now considers “frightening.”<\/p>\n

“Young people need to learn about sex from a reputable resource, like Cosmo or a strong mentor, not just scrolling aimlessly online like I did,” she said.<\/p>\n

While Abrams’ warning about pornography is valid, it’s important to note that Cosmopolitan itself has often promoted content that is inconsistent with Christian values.
