Her son has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.okmagazine.com\/2011\/03\/elizabeth-taylors-legacy-lives-on-son-releases-statement\/\" target=\"_blank\">released a statement <\/a>that has said the following:\u201cThough her loss is devastating to those of us who held her so close and so dear, we will always be inspired by her enduring contribution to our world.\u00a0&#8230;.\u00a0Her legacy will never fade, her spirit will always be with us, and her love will live forever in our hearts.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But the website <a href=\"http:\/\/content.usatoday.com\/communities\/Religion\/post\/2011\/03\/elizabeth-taylor-spiritual-religion-jewish\/1\" target=\"_blank\">Faith &amp; Reason <\/a>has also done a fantastic job of compiling quotes in which Taylor has commented on her thoughts about God. It seems Taylor was raised a Christian Scientist but converted to the Jewish faith later on for marital reasons.
