Miley Cyrus and her godmother, Dolly Parton, have a similar perspective regarding welcoming children into the world. During an interview with W Magazine<\/em>, Cyrus shared that she\u2019s still uncertain about having children of her own as she considers all of her fans to be part of her family, similar to a statement Parton had said. Cyrus told the outlet, \u201cI\u2019m 31 now, and I still don\u2019t know if I want kids or not. I feel like my fans kind of are my kids in some way.\u201d Cyrus admitted that she\u2019d heard Parton, who never had children, say something similar.<\/p>\n

She said, \u201cI\u2019ve heard Dolly say that too because she didn\u2019t have kids.\u201d\u00a0 Parton spoke to\u00a0Saga Magazine<\/em>\u00a0in 2023 about her decision not to have children with her husband of 58 years, Carl Thomas. She told the outlet at the time, \u201cWhen you\u2019re a young couple, you think you\u2019re going to have kids, but it just wasn\u2019t one of those burning things for me. I had my career and my music, and I was traveling. If I\u2019d had kids, I\u2019d have stayed at home with them. I\u2019m sure and worried myself to death about them.\u201d<\/p>\n
