As fans wait impatiently for the fourth season of \u201cThe Chosen\u201d to come to streaming, showrunner Dallas Jenkins recently announced that another streaming service will be carrying seasons 1-3. Jenkins took to Facebook to spread the word, sharing an article from \u201cInside the Magic\u201d that announced the upcoming \u201cpartnership.\u201d \u201cNot exactly a \u2018partnership,\u2019 but Seasons 1-3 are getting to another new audience,\u201d he wrote. \u201cInside the Magic<\/a>\u201d called the news \u201cdivine intervention.\u201d \u201cWith the Hulu bundle, Disney+ subscribers can also find a large selection of controversial media, such as \u2018American Horror Story,\u2019 \u2018Law and Order: SVU,\u2019 and \u2018Rick and Morty.\u2019 The decision to include \u2018The Chosen\u2019 amongst these titles might help win some more conservative subscribers back toward the mouse,\u201d it noted. Fans on Jenkins\u2019s page were mostly optimistic, with one user writing, \u201cThis is major! Congratulations! Let\u2019s gooo, Chosen Fam.\u201d Some expressed trepidation, with one writing, \u201cI certainly hope it isn\u2019t a partnership. Tread carefully; I hope \u2018The Chosen\u2019 is not hurt by this.\u201d Jenkins responded with, \u201cThere is no universe in which this is anything but a great thing, and the only people who would be bothered by it are not to be taken seriously, so no harm will be done.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Chosen\u201d is already available for streaming on giants like Netflix and Amazon Prime, but Disney+ has received more scrutiny due to its kid-friendly image and push to include more LGBTQ+ content for younger audiences. \u201cStrange World\u201d was lauded for featuring its first openly gay storyline, but it floundered at the box office. When news broke of a \u201cnot so secret<\/a>\u201d gay agenda, that left Disney with the cold shoulder from conservative families. So bringing on \u201cThe Chosen\u201d could be a smart move for the House of Mouse. The move to add more streaming platforms, however, is a necessary move according to Jenkins. \u201cThe Chosen\u201d has been a massive success since its humble beginnings as a crowd-funded show on Angel. \u201cOur previous path wasn\u2019t proving to be sustainable,\u201d Jenkins announced<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Season 4 was released in theaters to generate revenue and still remains in limbo as to when exactly it will be streamed. The show is set to have 7 seasons in total, meaning any income generated by releases is being used to fund future seasons. Jenkins acknowledged the frustration fans are experiencing in having to wait for the next season. \u201cWe are actively working on it every day. I promise you, no one is more frustrated by this than I am. And no one wants to get this to you more quickly than I do. We\u2019re working on it.
