\"Kirk<\/span>Actor Kirk Cameron has released a statement<\/a> about missing actor Andrew Koenig, whom he starred with on the hit TV series “Growing Pains.”
\n“Andrew, if you’re reading this, please call me,” said Cameron.
\nKoenig, who according to his family showed signs of depression in the weeks leading to his disappearance, played Michael Seaver’s (played by Cameron) best friend, Boner, on the show. He is also the son of Walter Koenig, who played Pavel Chekov in the Star Trek TV show and movies.
\nCameron, an evangelical Christian, also says that he has been praying for Koenig. “Mike and Boner could always work things out when they put their minds to it. I’m praying for you, pal. Hope to hear from you soon.”
