Chief executive officer of the Come and See Foundation Stan Jantz recently told CBN News his nonprofit\u2019s mission is to \u201csupport \u2018The Chosen\u2019\u201d implementing a vision to bring \u201cthe authentic Jesus\u201d to one billion people.<\/p>\n<p>Jantz said, \u201cWe have three pillars, and one is to ensure that all seven seasons get made. No. 2 is the translation piece, to translate every episode of every season into 600 languages, which is a huge task, never been done before on that scale.\u201d He said the third effort is strategic partners with global ministries to take \u201cThe Chosen\u201d to the \u201cfarthest places of the world.\u201d Jantz said he\u2019s been excited to see the amazing ways the show has impacted hearts and minds across the globe.<\/p>\n<p>He said, noting many people are so intrigued by what they see in \u201cThe Chosen\u201d that they open up their Bibles to read what\u2019s in Scripture, \u201cWe\u2019re excited about Bible engagement. YouVersion is finding a real uptick in their Bible engagement by showing \u2018The Chosen\u2019 on their apps.\u201d The show, Jantz said, has become a vehicle to point curious people toward God\u2019s Word. As CBN News\u00a0previously reported, \u201cThe Chosen\u201d creator Dallas Jenkins <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=kYeFYhKWz8I\">recently released a Facebook video with a shocking title<\/a>:\u00a0\u201cI\u2019ve got bad news about season 4\u2019s release.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/saIVJlHQJ-s?si=fk9_HXS9PcKf8cML\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>That proclamation gave a clue into some of what could be expected from Jenkins\u2019 more than 16-minute \u201cfamily chat,\u201d as he dubbed it \u2014 a candid conversation about why season four of \u201cThe Chosen\u201d was released in theaters, the monumental cost of producing the series, and upcoming plans for the show. Despite challenges delaying the streaming release of the latest season, Jantz said \u201cThe Chosen\u201d season four will be making its way into prisons through Prison Fellowship and will also head to churches.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re seeing that this is a tool that they\u2019re using to engage these inmates and then, as chaplains, take them through that discipleship journey,\u201d he said. \u201cWe\u2019re thrilled.\u201d Churches can also\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.comeandseefoundation.org\/church\">find out<\/a>\u00a0how they can bring season four to their congregations free of charge. \u201cOne of our goals, too, is to keep this show free for all,\u201d Jantz said of any church or prison participating in this offer. \u201cPeople can watch it and not have to pay for it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, he hopes the Prison Fellowship partnership impacts not just the inmates but also their families, yielding lasting healing. \u201cI think that healing can take place too of maybe there\u2019s been resentment, or confusion, or whatever kind of happens when someone is incarcerated,\u201d Jantz said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The head of an organization tasked with bringing \u201cThe Chosen\u201d to one billion people across the globe has revealed plans to bring season four of the hit show to churches and prisons, a bold move aimed at sparking healing and Gospel conversations.
