The 66th<\/sup> Annual Grammys concluded on Sunday and Christian rapper Lecrae won big, taking home two awards. Lecrae, 44, bagged the award for Best Contemporary Christian Album for his album, Church Clothes 4<\/em>, and best Contemporary Christian Music Performance\/Song for his song \u201cYour Power\u201d featuring Tasha Cobb. Lecrae has two other Grammy wins under his belt from 2013 and 2015, but this is the first time he has taken home the award for best Contemporary Christian Album. Lecrae\u2019s Church Clothes<\/em> beat out other albums by artists such as Phil Wickham and Lauren Daigle.<\/p>\n

Accepting his award with his daughter for \u201cYour Power,\u201d he admonished<\/a> the crowd to \u201cimpact the world.\u201d \u201cThe imprint of God is on each and every one of you all\u2019s lives,\u201d he said. \u201cWhether you take home an award or not, \u2018you are fearfully and wonderfully made.\u2019 And you made this music not to win an award, but to impact the world with the gift that God has put in you. Never forget that,\u201d he added. When Lecrae appeared on stage<\/a> to accept his award for Church Clothes<\/em>, he gave credit to God. \u201cI don\u2019t even have words at this point and time. At the end of the day, so many people put so much hard work into this music, into this project,\u201d he said. He thanked \u201cevery single soul who touched this project, everybody who listened to it, enjoyed it.\u201d\u00a0 He then added that \u201clike I said before, I have to give credit to the Lord Jesus for just being my all in all in everything, to allow me to speak the words that I have in art.\u201d<\/p>\n
