\u201cThe Chosen\u201d season four will hit the big screen starting Feb. 1, and the cast is prepping fans for what they \u201chave to dread\u201d in the next season. Paras Patel, who plays Matthew, said in a YouTube video, \u201cYou shouldn\u2019t watch season four if you don\u2019t react well to death.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jonathan Roumie, who plays Jesus, added, \u201cIt\u2019s going to be brutal. What nerve to take our fans on such an emotional rollercoaster.\u201d Per Screen Rant, \u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s known that the death of John the Baptist will be a part of the next season, as will the build-up towards the Crucifixion and Judas Iscariot\u2019s betrayal. Whether season four of \u2018The Chosen\u2019\u00a0will include the final days of Christ, however, hasn\u2019t been confirmed, and likely won\u2019t be before the release date.\u201d<\/p>\n

David Amito, who plays John the Baptist, said, \u201cI\u2019ve had\u00a0people on Instagram reaching out being\u00a0like, \u2018I\u2019m dreading it,\u2019 since, like, season two. I\u2019m dreading it.\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018Yeah, don\u2019t\u00a0worry about it,\u2019 and this year, they\u2019re\u00a0like, \u2018I\u2019m dreading it.\u2019 I just stay quiet.\u00a0I\u2019m like, \u2018Well, here it is. We all knew this was\u00a0coming.\u2019\u2019 Demetrios Troy, who plays Lazarus, added, \u201cWe know where we\u2019re going, and there is no stopping that.\u201d<\/p>\n
