Actor Jesse Hutch uttered a shocking proclamation during a recent interview with CBN Digitial: \u201cI should be dead,\u201d revealing a miraculous recovery after an outrageous, near-death experience, a remarkable healing he believes came at the hand of God.<\/p>\n

Hutch, star of Great American Family\u2019s new movie, \u201cA Christmas Blessing,\u201d is known for starring in romantic comedies, but some fans might not know he\u2019s also a devout Christian who came to faith as a young child. He said, \u201cI said something called \u2018The Sinner\u2019s Prayer\u2019 with my grandmother when I was 5 years old at the foot of my bed. I remember that she gave me a children\u2019s Bible. I still have it to this day.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said his parents\u2019 divorce later sent him deeper into exploring his faith, which has grown over the years as his life has evolved into marriage, having children, and building an acting career. Hutch said, \u201cGod loves you. When I look back on my life, there was a definite hand that kept me out of trouble in many ways. He shared a terrifying ordeal he faced when he drowned years ago while working as a whitewater raft guide, was trapped underwater for between 11 and 22 minutes, and nearly died.<\/p>\n
