Candace Cameron Bure played a U.S. Army reservist and orthopedic physician in \u201cMy Christmas Hero,\u201d while her daughter Natasha Bure starred as a young woman in \u201cA Christmas For the Ages\u201d who helps her family celebrate the past.<\/p>\n<p>Both movies will be replayed throughout December. The two films are part of the network\u2019s Great American Christmas event, which includes 20 movies this year. Candace Cameron Bure, the chief content officer at Great American Family, told Fox News Digital that her daughter was \u201caround 12, 13, 14 years old\u201d when she decided she, too, wanted to act. Bure said, \u201cShe was like, \u2018This is what I want to do.\u2019 So I\u2019m like, \u2018Great. I\u2019ve been down this path. I can help guide you.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bure added that Natasha has \u201cbeen singing and acting her whole life, like a lot of little kids.\u201d She continued, \u201cYou know, there are so many videos that I have on my computer when they would just go in and go to the photo booth on there when she was seven years old, and she\u2019d pretend like she had her own talk show and all kinds of things like that.\u201d At Great American Family, Bure says she is able to wear two hats: as an actor and a producer. She was an executive producer on her daughter\u2019s movie.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/IQ6GhUmItsA?si=LN6x4GT-pkA1BcQa\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>She told Fox News Digital, \u201cWhen I can just sit there at the monitors behind the camera, watching the scenes develop and run in and give my notes of what to improve like I\u2019m in a creative high. This is the best thing that I could be doing.\u201d Bure added, \u201cAnd then to see my daughter\u2019s face on screen is incredible. And because she\u2019s so good, it\u2019s like, I also know her intimately. So, there are nuances. I\u2019m like, \u2018Give me this, give me that.\u2019 There\u2019s like a short speech and it\u2019s really wonderful. Sometimes, I jump in like the director, and I get ahead of myself. But anyway, it\u2019s just a joy for me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bure, one of the most outspoken Christians in entertainment, added that she is grateful for her family.
