\"Michael<\/span>Well, the news is out–Michael Vick gets another chance.
\nThe Huffington Post<\/a> told the story clearly:
\n“Michael Vick is back in the NFL,” wrote Barry Wilner. “Now all he needs is a team to play for.”
\nOne of the foremost young talents the league has seen in a long time fizzled on the field and burned out off of the field, and was arrested on a number of charges, including the financing and hosting of a dog fighting operation in Virginia where he lived.<\/p>\n


\nAs a result, the most highly paid player in the league went to jail. Now he is out. And what’s next is a matter for the 32 NFL owners (and ownership teams) to decide. One of them stands to gain a great deal by taking a chance on Mr. Vick. Moreso, it stands a chance to capture a great chapter in what is best about people of faith: the assurance of something that hasn’t yet been seen.
\nCharacter is so important for a professional athlete. Michael Vick failed his first test. He’s hoping for another chance, and my bet is that at least 1 of the 32 owners will want to make him that offer. He’s a star in the making. He’s a stronger man of character than he was before. He wants to make up for lost time. He wants to impress and he wants the chance to do it now.
\nSo I’m going to pray for Michael Vick, that his transition goes well. And I’m going to draft him onto my fantasy team. He may not be my Number One choice, but I hope to have him on my roster. I’m sure some real life owners will compete for the right to do the same.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
