She told Fallon, &#8220;He&#8217;s like Benji at home, being the best dad ever and running all of his businesses.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>When Madden isn&#8217;t out performing with his band Good Charlotte, he&#8217;s at home making songs for his daughter Raddix. Diaz said, &#8220;He makes up songs for Raddix. I&#8217;m like, &#8216;Why don&#8217;t we just, you need to do a kids&#8217; album because he has the best songs. They play in my head all the time because he sings them to her, and she knows the words. And it&#8217;s the sweetest thing ever. It really is. It&#8217;s so, it kills me.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Diaz added, &#8220;He has some bangers. I&#8217;m telling you.&#8221; Diaz and her husband are very protective of Raddix and work to keep her from the spotlight, rarely discussing her online and with the media. When she was born, the couple shared that they &#8220;feel a strong instinct to protect our little one&#8217;s privacy, so we won&#8217;t be posting pictures or sharing any more details, other than the fact that she is really, really cute! Some would even say RAD.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Diaz, known for her roles in the &#8220;Shrek&#8221; film series and &#8220;Annie,&#8221; revealed that her time away from the big screen will continue now that she is a mother. The actress, who last appeared in a movie seven years ago, said that becoming a mother changed her perspective on her career in Hollywood.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/thKMU8UqqZI?si=gICEpU0qshX3hJNq\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>She said on the radio show Quarantined with Bruce, &#8220;Will I ever make a movie again? I&#8217;m not looking to, but will I? I don&#8217;t know. I have no idea. Maybe. Never say never. But I couldn&#8217;t imagine being a mom now where I&#8217;m at as a mother, with my child at her first year, to have to be on a movie set that takes 14 hours, 16 hours of my day away from my child.&#8221; Diaz and Madden first met at an event attended by his twin brother,\u00a0Joel Madden, and his wife,\u00a0Nicole Richie.<\/p>\n<p>Diaz recalled when she first saw Madden during an interview on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/movies\/cameron-diaz-explains-why-shes-not-attracted-to-husband-benji-maddens-twin-theyre-not-the-same\/\"><em>Anna Faris Is Unqualified<\/em><\/a>\u00a0podcast in 2021. She explained, &#8220;I met them first, and then they didn&#8217;t set us up, but we were in the same room because of them, and then we found each other.&#8221; She was surprised that Madden was in her social circle but that they had never formally met. &#8220;I was, like, &#8216;How come I didn&#8217;t see him before?&#8217; &#8221; asked Diaz.<\/p>\n<p>Richie then introduced the duo.
