Singer and actor Donny Osmond credits his father as the reason he\u2019s never said a curse word. He told PEOPLE Magazine, <\/em>\u201cI never heard my father curse. He was tough, but he never swore.\u201d Osmond admitted that he still \u201cthinks the words<\/a>,\u201d saying, \u201cThere are certain people I would love to say certain words to at certain times, but I just think, \u2018Be like your dad.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to not cursing, Osmond has always maintained that he would avoid the usual pitfalls fame can bring to young stars. The singer said in an interview with Fox News<\/a>, \u201cI decided long ago that I wasn\u2019t going to do it with scandals, trickery or promotional campaigns. I was going to do it with my music, which is a really difficult way to do it. But it happened. And it took me 10 years. But I wanted the music to speak for itself.\u201d<\/p>\n
