Actors may bring in millions of dollars and amass fame, but some still find themselves confused, lost, and alone, lacking the purpose some falsely assume worldly possessions and notoriety will bring.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.movieguide.org\/news-articles\/jill-wagner-reflects-on-giving-life-to-god-god-was-with-me.html\">According to Movieguide<\/a>, actress Jill Wagner has spoken out about this reality, sharing how she went through a time in her life when she was \u201creally down, and depressed, and kind of lost.\u201d Like many, Wagner found material success but didn\u2019t feel fulfilled. She said, \u201cOn paper, my life looked perfect. I was this actress, and I was traveling all around, and everything was exciting. But really, all I wanted was stability, and I wanted a family, and I wanted a husband, and I didn\u2019t quite understand what was wrong with me and why I couldn\u2019t have those things.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, life turned around for the actress when she started talking to God and bringing her problems and issues to Him, a process she said allowed her to let go of the confusion and negativity. Once Wagner turned to God, she described the emotions that came over her as a \u201cbig bear hug.\u201d Suddenly, she felt God telling her she would be okay, no matter what. She said, \u201cIt was the feeling that no matter what, with or without a husband or family or anything, I was loved, and I was going to be okay.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/AczYpS3WF7c?si=ojxxQMu4UAfHXI00\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Wagner continued, \u201cAnd then I started to feel like, \u2018Wow, maybe I\u2019m going to be good being alone by myself,\u2019 but not really by myself because I had God.\u201d That realization comforted Wagner, and just one month later, the man she would marry, someone she met years before when she was a teenager, came back into her life. She said she and her now-husband found their faith again, building relationships with the Lord and one another.<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, as Movieguide noted,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.movieguide.org\/news-articles\/jill-wagner-reflects-on-giving-life-to-god-god-was-with-me.html\">Wagner\u2019s decision<\/a>\u00a0to give it all up to the Lord sustained her, and she credits it for building her faith. She said, \u201cIt\u2019s the reason why I have a strong faith. And I didn\u2019t find my faith until later on in life.\u201d The actress previously explained in a video for Great American Family that she didn\u2019t find her faith until her mid-to-late 30s, describing the scenario as one in which her \u201ceyes were open all of a sudden.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She said, \u201cI started to see signs all around me, and God was talking to me every single day, whereas before, I didn\u2019t have the lines of communication open up there. But they\u2019re there.\u201d Wagner\u2019s experience reminds us all that turning our worries and whims over to God is the best way forward.
