In fact, in a mere twenty-four hours there is already speculation that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/gossip\/2009\/05\/05\/2009-05-05_miss_california_carrie_prejean_says_racy_web_photos_posted_to_mock_faith_.html\" target=\"_blank\">Prejean may have to give up her crown <\/a> for violating part of the pageant contract.<br \/>\nPrejean has released a statement, openly proclaimed her Christian faith, saying that the photos were taken when she was only seventeen and they were for a modeling shoot. She also said that the release of the photos were a deliberate attempt to &#8220;mock her Christian faith.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nI&#8217;m not one to support those in the spotlight who have martyr complexes. She has a point. Really in a long of history of beauty pageant scandals, I think this is a relatively minor one. The photo is tasteful, she is only seen from the back, and though the photo may not show the best judgment, clearly it is a photo from the distant past.<br \/>\nPersonally, I am much more worried about the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.radarmagazine.com\/category\/tags\/carrie-prejean\" target=\"_blank\">rumor she is dating Olympic swimmer and party boy Michael Phelps<\/a>.
