Lohan welcomed baby boy, Luai, on Monday in Dubai, where she now resides with her financier husband Shammas. A representative for Lohan confirmed the news to HuffPost, saying they &#8220;Welcomed a beautiful, healthy son named Luai,&#8221; which is Arabic for shield or protector. They added saying, \u201cThe family is over the moon in love.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lohan first announced her pregnancy back in March when she posted on Instagram a baby romper with the words &#8220;Coming soon!&#8221; on the front. She captioned the image \u201cWe are blessed and excited!\u201d In June, while speaking to Allure, Lohan opened up about her excitement to become a mother. \u201cI can\u2019t wait to see what the feeling is and what it\u2019s like to just be a mom,\u201d Lohan said. \u201cHappy tears. That\u2019s just who I am. Though now, it\u2019s probably baby emotion. It\u2019s overwhelming in a good way.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lohan and Shammas first began seeing each other in 2019, when they were sure to keep their relationship very private. In November 2021, Lohan announced their engagement by posting on Instagram showing off her ring with the caption, &#8220;My love. My life. My family. My future.&#8221; Last April, Lohan and Shammas tied the knot in a private ceremony honoring their marriage. In July 2022, Lohan took to Instagram to gush over her husband saying, &#8220;I am the luckiest woman in the world. Not because I need a man, but because he found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Recently, Lohan sat down with &#8220;Mean Girls&#8221; co-star Amanda Seyfried for Interview magazine where Lohan spoke about her new home of Dubai. \u201cIt\u2019s so detached from everything that I\u2019m used to when I\u2019m here in the States. And there are no paparazzi. It\u2019s nice to have a separate world that\u2019s my own.
