Nichole told Bure that this particular song \u201ccarries something that is not from me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>During the podcast as part of Bure\u2019s \u201csummer song series,\u201d Nichole shared how she started in music as a full-time worship leader at her church. At the time, she was also in medical school with no idea that music would eventually become her full-time career. After becoming a certified medical assistant and continuing as a worship leader for over two years, Nichole said she \u201cstarted to feel as though the path that God was leading me down wasn\u2019t medical, and it was music related.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nichole said, \u201cI\u2019m so grateful that I get to create music with an encouraging, uplifting message so that someone can be given hope throughout their day.\u201d The song that made her famous, \u201cIn Jesus Name (God of Possible),\u201d was on Billboard\u2019s Christian Airplay chart for 20 consecutive weeks. The song received a nomination for a GMA Dove Award in 2022, and she was awarded Worship Song of the Year at the 2022 K-LOVE Fan Awards.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ChZasVwKztw\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Nichole was nominated as Favorite Inspirational Artist at the 2022 American Music Awards. She once thought she would solely be a worship leader at her church and never thought that her dream of being signed to a record label would become a reality. However, God took her by surprise. Nichole said, \u201cHonestly, I would\u2019ve been fully satisfied with singing worship at my church for many more years because I love having the community of that, and I love being able to lead people well in that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She continued, \u201cSo, that space was always a comfortable space for me, but I think God was trying to pull me out of that comfort zone.\u201d Nichole said that many people don\u2019t know about her journey in music because a record label signed her before her song went viral.\u00a0She said she remembers praying to God about her chances of being signed to a label before it happened.\u00a0Nichole decided that \u201claying her dream to be signed to a record label at the feet of Jesus, while not really thinking much of it,\u201d might not lead to anything. However, her prayer eventually became her reality.<\/p>\n<p>Nichole\u2019s other popular song, \u201cGod of Possible,\u201d was created in Nashville while she was sitting at a piano in the middle of having a panic attack because \u201cthe anxiety had gotten to me.\u201d She said she credits God for the creation of all her music and her success thus far. \u201cThis is my heart.
