“The Hunger Games” and “Reacher” star Alan Ritchson said supporting faith-based films is essential to keep discussions about Christ alive, telling Christian Headlines that they’re something he’s proud to participate in. During a prayer Zoom call with the cast and crew of the upcoming film “Ordinary Angels,” Ritchson said, “I want to be part of stories like that,” per the outlet’s report.<\/p>\n

Ritchson added, “If that’s films where the pulpit is for people who wouldn’t normally step foot in a church, then that’s still a great way to have that conversation. It matters that these films get supported.” The 40-year-old actor’s role in the upcoming Christian film, set to hit theaters in October, centers on a hopeful message of a single mom rallying a community around a family suffering from a medical crisis.<\/p>\n
