He\u2019s been called every superlative in the book. However, Steph\u2019s teammate Andre Iguodala took it further on a recent episode of Shannon Sharpe\u2019s podcast, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/c\/clubshayshay\">Club Shay Shay.<\/a>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sharpe brought up Curry\u2019s message to the NBA in the 2020-2021 season when the Memphis Grizzlies eliminated the Warriors from the play-in tournament. Sharpe believed that the Warriors would rise again. Iguodala said he meant it when he joined the Warriors in 2013 and came to the team to win a championship.<\/p>\n<p>Iguodala told Sharpe, \u201cI\u2019m saying to myself, \u2018I think I\u2019ve met the closest thing to Jesus Christ.\u2019 Not to put that on him. I\u2019ve never seen an individual. He doesn\u2019t stray away from who he is in terms of who he is as a person. So, you know what you\u2019re getting night in and night out. And I could see it. So, I\u2019m thinking I\u2019m about to go and try to win a championship. That faith is strong.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>An injury upended Curry\u2019s 2022-2023 season, but the Warriors have stayed relevant in the Western Conference. If he comes back by the end of the year, he could put Golden State in position for another playoff run and championship win. The nine-time All-Star is averaging 29.4 points and 6.4 assists in 38 games.<\/p>\n<p>Curry and his Christian faith are inseparable. The 34-year-old has withstood the classic\u00a0driving forces in the industry\u00a0and has remained true to his identity. He is among the most composed, calm, humble, and famous basketball players globally.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/E7XoX9ouGrM\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>With Curry, you don\u2019t have to guess what drives him. Throughout his career, he\u2019s been open about his Christian faith since he attributes his success on the court to it. He is deeply rooted in the Christian faith. To him, it isn\u2019t basketball that defines him but his faith.<\/p>\n<p>His shoes bear the phrase \u201cI can do all things\u201d from the Bible verse Philippians 4:13, which reads, \u201cFor I can do all things through Him [Jesus] who Strengthens me.\u201d The phrase has become a trademark; it\u2019s an indirect way of proclaiming his faith to his fans.<\/p>\n<p>Although Curry is a world-class athlete, his mission and brand surpass the basketball court. One of Curry\u2019s main achievements is the launch of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/unanimousmedia.com\/\">Unanimous Media<\/a>, which got its name from his unanimous MVP title. He founded the media company in 2018. It produces digital content, scripts, and documentaries centered on faith-based content, family, and sports.<\/p>\n<p>Curry also gives back to society; he\u2019s involved with many charity organizations. He has partnered with Nothing but Net to supply mosquito nets to African families. This basketball star is passionate about this cause and pledges to donate three nets for every 3-point shot he accomplishes on the court.<\/p>\n<p>Curry is a shining example of how faith can impact a career and life. Curry makes significant contributions to the United Nations Foundation and Animal Rescue Foundations.
