A pastor\u2019s sermon calling R&B icon Beyonc\u00e9 Knowles-Carter a \u201cwitch\u201d has gone viral. The pastor added that anyone who listens to her music and attends her concert shouldn\u2019t call themselves Christian.<\/p>\n

Pastor Tiphani Montgomery, who uses the title prophetess and leads the teaching and prophetic ministry Covered by God, compared going to Beyonce concerts to satanic rituals in a sermon. Montgomery preached as the crowd applauded, \u201cAny of you who are going to Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s concert, I rebuke you in the name of Jesus. How dare you call yourself a Christian?\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cI don\u2019t care what pastor you got that\u2019s okay with it. I don\u2019t care what pastor you got that thinks it\u2019s cool. I don\u2019t care what pastor you got that\u2019s singing along to the songs because they want some clout.\u201d Montgomery also referenced rapper Jay-Z, Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s husband of 14 years, saying, \u201cWhy do you think that man calls himself \u2018J-Hova.\u2019<\/p>\n

Montgomery also suggested that Beyonc\u00e9 is a witch, adding that when a witch has a coven, it\u2019s usually a small thing made up of three to seven people. However, she said that when the coven has thousands of people, it becomes known as a \u201chive,\u201d referencing Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s fans, the Bey Hive. Then, she asked the audience, \u201cY\u2019all are part of that lady\u2019s \u2018Bey Hive,\u2019 and you call yourself a Christian?\u201d<\/p>\n

Montgomery continued, \u201cMay the dealings of the Lord come upon you. You think this is small stuff. You think going to that lady\u2019s concert is not an initiation? You think going to that concert is not a ritual?\u201d She argues that everything about Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s concerts is a gateway to serving the devil. She also warned Christians with large social media followings that promoting Beyonc\u00e9 to their audiences will cause them to face the wrath of God.<\/p>\n
