Mariah Carey and her daughter, Monroe, shared a special mother-daughter moment while singing the classic Christmas hymn “Away in a Manger” at her Christmas show in Toronto last year. Carey introduced her daughter to her sold-out crowd at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena saying, “This is my baby girl, here. Eleven years ago, I got the greatest gift. You know what, I don\u2019t have birthdays, but the birthing day was the greatest gift ever, when I had my twins Roc and Roe [Moroccan and Monroe], and once again I\u2019d like to introduce you to my daughter, Monroe.” Carey continued by saying “This is our first duet,” although she said they had been working on it for quite some time.<\/p>\n

The duo matched in white sparkly dresses as the crowd cheered loudly for them while they sang their first-ever duet on stage. Many were stunned by Monroe’s strong vocals just like her mother, and went wild for them while they sang the Christmas hymn. “My daughter, Miss Monroe,” Carey proudly said after the performance.<\/p>\n
