After an exciting Super Bowl victory for the Los Angeles Rams in 2022, wide receiver Cooper Kupp was named Most Valuable Player of the season. His eight receptions for 92 yards and the final touchdown that won the whole game played a significant role in bringing his team to a championship. This win ended their historic season with a 23-20 record.<\/p>\n

The talented wide receiver has always been outspoken about his faith and relationship with Jesus. Amongst the field celebrations after the game, Kupp gave God all the praise and credit for his success. In an interview with \u201cSports Spectrum,\u201d he expressed how he felt about the riveting season.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt just comes down to this team, how we\u2019ve prepared, the way we\u2019ve loved on each other, trusted each other,\u201d he said fondly. \u201cI don\u2019t know; I don\u2019t feel deserving of this. God is just so good. I\u2019m just so thankful for the guys I get to be around, for the coaches, for my family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kupp also shared that God gave a vision to him three years ago after the Patriots defeated the Rams. The vivid dream had his team making it to the Super Bowl and receiving the title of MVP. He pointed out that he told no one of this dream except his wife. Kupp shared that he often thought of this pre-destined vision as this season progressed.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know what it was; there was just this vision that God revealed to me that we were going to come back, we were going to be a part of a Super Bowl, we were going to win it,\u201d he explained. \u201cAnd somehow \u2014 somehow I was going to walk off the field as the MVP of the game.\u201d<\/p>\n

This powerful forewarning from God coming to fruition is remarkable. The wide receiver explained that since he trusted in God\u2019s plan, he didn\u2019t have to worry about the how.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was written already, and I just got to play free knowing that I got to play from victory, not for victory,\u201d Kupp stated. \u201cI got to play in a place where I was validated not from anything that happened on the field but because of my worth in God, in my Father.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kupp has always been bold about declaring his Christian faith. After Sunday night\u2019s triumph, Kupp even took to social media to say, \u201cDo it to get a crown that will last forever.\u201d This phrase is a fragment of his favorite Bible passage of 1 Corinthians 9:24-25, which reads, \u201cDo you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kupp has always given God the glory and focused on Him throughout his career successes.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy motivation coming in every single day is to run the race in such a way as to honor God and the passions and the talents that He\u2019s given me,\u201d Kupp declared. \u201cWhen I\u2019m rooted in that, I am in a great place.
