The Golden Globes is a time for Hollywood\u2019s elite to come together and celebrate the talents of their peers. However, this year\u2019s award ceremony was unlike any others. This year\u2019s Golden Globes were untelevised due to a conflict with NBC and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association surrounding controversy with the Association\u2019s lack of diversity. Netflix and Warner Media also chose not to participate in any Globe-related activities. Tom Cruise went as far as returning his three Golden Globe awards because of the conflict.
