Like any other magazine for teen girls, fashion, makeup, television, movies, and music all feature prominently, not to mention advice on dating and boys. Though the magazine <em>does <\/em>have some content that is not common to teen girl magazines, including monthly articles on issues facing Muslim countries, profiles of Muslim role models, and tips about making sure your cell phone doesn&#8217;t go off during prayer (you don&#8217;t want to embarrass yourself).<br \/>\nPart of the magazine&#8217;s point is to show Muslim girls how they don&#8217;t have to choose between being a girl and God, says the magazine&#8217;s editor in chief, Ausma Khan.<br \/>\nThough it&#8217;s ruffled some feathers (some groups think its too westernized), Khan is excited about the magazine&#8217;s success and its future.
