\nIn the series, Grace Hanadarko, played by Holly Hunter, is living hard, drinking a lot, and sleeping around. Her life is on a downward spiral, with no end in sight for her destructive behavior. Then one night, while driving drunk, she slams into a pedestrian–and meets Earl, an angel who has come to save Grace from herself, whether she wants to be saved or not. Earl’s got his challenge ahead of him, but he doesn’t give up on Grace.
