As her life has unraveled before our eyes, much has been made of the mother-daughter rift<\/a> between Britney Spears and her mother, Lynne. One possible reason for the rift might be found in the recent news that Lynn Spears has signed<\/a> with Christian publisher Thomas Nelson to co-write a memoir that will be released close to Mother’s Day in 2008.<\/p>\n


\nThe memoir, entitled “Pop Culture Mom: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World” is being developed with the help of Lorilee Craker, a Christian author who has written numerous parenting books. Craker has been working with Lynne Spears since March on the project and describes the book as a “the truth, but it’s based in love.” Craker also defends Lynne Spears as “one of the kindest, most decent people.”
