Contrary to popular belief, Justin Bieber isn’t always running around as America’s bad boy. He has a soft side too.<\/p>\n
Bieber once again showed his vulnerability when he lead worship during a service at his Los Angeles church. Though the singer has performed millions of times for fans and in massive arenas, Bieber says leading his church was something that took years of building up courage to do. He was able to do so with the help of the lead pastor of his church, Judah Smith. <\/p>\n
“We first met Justin when he was like 8 years old in Toronto and he’s always been a worshipper, and that’s a lot of who he is,” Smith said in a video during the service, posted by TMZ. “I want to be a part of a church where everybody gets a fair shake in using their gift…and far be it from me standing in the way of getting in the way of someone who clearly has a gift for worship.”<\/p>\n
“I want to second that,” Bieber shared from the mic. “I’ve kind of not done this because I didn’t want to make it seem like \u2013 Judah, you know what I’m trying to say \u2013 I just didn’t want to make people think, like, this is a show.”<\/p>\n
Later, Justin took to his Instagram to further share his experience. <\/p>\n
“God is pulling me through a hard season. Having trust in Jesus at your worst times is absolute hardest. But he is faithful to complete what he started,” he wrote.<\/p>\n
During the service, Justin performed two songs: “Never Would’ve Made It” by Marvin Sapp and “To Worship You I Live” by Israel Houghton. After he sung, he thanked his wife Hailey for being a strong support system.<\/p>\n
