Christian athlete Tim Tebow proposed to his girlfriend, former Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, at the start of 2019 and the pair married in 2020. Tebow maintained his virginity until his marriage, and the couple famously choose to save sex for their wedding night.<\/p>\n

Tebow, a 32-year-old virgin at the time of his marriage, said he would save himself for marriage since the beginning of his career, which many fans supported. When he became engaged, he vowed to keep that promise to God and said he was joyful that Nel-Peters wanted to do the same.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s just a choice that we made, that we both wanted to do that together and we\u2019ll try to make it as special as possible,\u201d Tebow said.<\/p>\n

When asked when he knew that Nel-Peters was the one, Tebow had this to say: \u201cYou know what\u2019s crazy is we both kinda knew the first or second time we hung out.\u201d<\/p>\n
