Television writer Chuck Lorre criticized White House press secretary Sarah Hucakabee on his latest \u201cvanity card,\u201d a personal statement he flashes across the screen after the credits of the show. Many are calling the statement \u201cugly\u201d and \u201csexist.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lorre criticized Sanders for her appearance and for her Christian faith.<\/p>\n

\u201cGod told me he hasn\u2019t spoken to Sarah Sanders since she was fourteen years old and praying for her skin to clear up,\u201d Lorre wrote. \u201cI have no reason to doubt him.\u201d<\/p>\n

The jab at the daughter of retired pastor and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee was likely in response to her recent claim during a CBN News interview that God \u201cwanted Donald Trump to become president.\u201d<\/p>\n

The statement came up during Sander\u2019s interview with David Brody and Jennifer Wishon who brought up the question about God\u2019s hand in the 2016 election.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think God calls all of us to fill different roles at different times and I think that he wanted Donald Trump to become president, and that\u2019s why he\u2019s there,\u201d Sanders told CBN News. \u201cI think he has done a tremendous job in supporting a lot of the things that people of faith really care about.\u201d<\/p>\n
