In a recent interview with Essence<\/em>, R&B singer Bobby Brown and his wife Alicia Etheredge-Brown discussed their relationship and revealed that the key to their marriage success is keeping faith at the center.<\/p>\n

Brown has made headlines throughout the years for his bad boy behavior, but his life was transformed in recent years, much due to his faith and second marriage.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can\u2019t do anything without God. You can\u2019t wake up in the morning, you can\u2019t go to sleep,\u201d Brown \u00a0said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m just thankful that I have that connection with her,\u201d Brown said when talking about his wife, Alicia. \u201cWe believe in the same thing, we\u2019re spiritual\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

Another thing that keeps their marriage grounded is having the same values, Etheredge-Brown said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe walk in gratitude, that\u2019s so important to us,\u201d she added. \u201cIt\u2019s really nice to find a partner that you\u2019re in sync with on that, anything else just stop the struggle.\u201d<\/p>\n

The couple married in 2012 and have a son and two daughters together. Previously, Brown was in a high profile marriage with singing legend Whitney Houston. Brown\u2019s daughter with Houston died tragically in 2015 after being found in a Georgia bathtub, unconscious. After all the ups and downs, Brown said he\u2019s found \u201cpeace\u201d with Alicia.<\/p>\n
