There&#8217;s not been a time where it was like &#8212; &#8220;Oh this is our Jesus story,&#8221; it&#8217;s just always been there for us.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>God was there for her during her divorce.<\/p>\n<p>The superstar said that going through her divorce was tumultuous. Yet, it was her faith in God that stabilized her brokenness.<\/p>\n<p>When McEntire and Narvel Blackstock announced their separation after 26 years of marriage, the decision really crushed her.<\/p>\n<p>It was not her idea, either.<\/p>\n<p>She never wanted the divorce and it was a shock. Yet, she made the decision not to contest it. She just wanted everybody to be happy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI prayed every day to help me have the strength to move one foot in front of the other, and continue on with what I\u2019m supposed to be doing and then with my team and my friends, my family, my girlfriends,&#8221; she said according to published reports.<\/p>\n<p>People are discouraged about religion. But it is the fellowship that really brings people together she shared.<\/p>\n<p>Having a special relationship with the Lord is knowing that He is there for you. It is Him allowing you to see the beauty in the world. It can be as simple as observing the flowers or enjoying the splendor of the sky.<\/p>\n<p>The singer said she was driving one day and spotted a rainbow&#8211;this warmed her heart. This was a sign to her that God loves to give us little gifts along the way. Look at it as a little wink from heaven just for you.<\/p>\n<p>When you feel that you are abandoned, know that God is there for you.<\/p>\n<p>McEntire did. He is her bestie.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I can&#8217;t imagine living a life without God in my life. He is my best friend, He&#8217;s my buddy, He&#8217;s the one that I talk to when there&#8217;s no one around. I talk to Him when people are around a lot too. He&#8217;s my confidant, He&#8217;s my advisor, He&#8217;s my director. I just don&#8217;t know why you wouldn&#8217;t want that in your life. He&#8217;s just like a bodyguard, He is your protector.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Her advice to Christians?<\/p>\n<p>Have fun.<\/p>\n<div class=\"copy-paste-block\">\n<p>&#8220;People who don&#8217;t believe in the religious connotation feel like if they&#8217;re in the religious sector in that group that they will not be able to have any fun anymore. I totally disagree with that theory.
