An <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2007\/07\/13\/sports\/baseball\/13bonds.html?ref=sports\" target=\"_blank\">article<\/a> in The New York Times today tells the story of the cross that has become one of Bonds&#8217;s signatures.<br \/>\nThe original earring was fashioned by an Iranian \u00e9migr\u00e9 jewelry maker named Shapur Mozaffarian, from a cross pendant given to the ballplayer by his grandfather.
