Katie Ledecky crushed her anchor leg in the women\u2019s 4x200m freestyle relay. This left her with her fourth medal of the Games. \u00a0Australia held the lead until Ledecky hit the water, leaving them with the silver and Canada with the bronze.<\/p>\n

Kohei Uchimura claimed his eighth straight Olympics or World Championships gymnastics all-around title. Uchimura won historic back-to back golds for the all-around yesterday by only .099 points.<\/p>\n

Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte battled in the semifinals of the 200-meter X with Phelps beating out Lochte for the top time. The two finished 1-2 overall and will compete again today in the final competition against each other in the Olympics. The rivalry has been something the world has watched for years, but now the duo remains friendly. The 200-meter individual medley in Rio will be aired around 10 p.m.<\/p>\n

Cyclist Kristin Armstrong won her\u00a0third consecutive\u00a0gold a\u00a0day before her 43rd birthday. She has become the only cyclist \u2013 male or female \u2013 to win three consecutive golds in the same disciplines. She called the victory in Rio \u201cthe most gratifying\u201d of her three individual championships. Armsrong urged other female athletes not to let negative ideas seep into their mind and go for what they are capable of.\u00a0\u201cWe\u2019ve been told we should be finished at a certain age, but there are a lot of athletes out there who are showing that\u2019s not true,\u201d said Armstrong,<\/p>\n
