This poster features Esther, a Jewish slave and love interest of Judah Ben-Hur in the film. She is a heroine, remarkably transformed by Jesus\u2019 message of love and forgiveness. Esther is played by Iranian actress Nazanin Boniadi who scored the offer to play the female lead opposite Jack Huston who plays Judah Ben-Hur in the film. The role was initially set to be played by Israeli actress Gal Gadot before other film conflicts prevented her from signing on.
