Coming this September, one of Hollywood’s most beloved characters will return to the big screen. Bridget Jones is returning for a third film in the franchise titled\u00a0Bridget Jones’s Baby\u00a0which focuses on a now pregnant Jones and her hunt to discover which of two men is the father to her unborn child.<\/p>\n
The movie was shot in London over the past year and follows the 2001 original and 2004’s\u00a0Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason.\u00a0Colin Firth will reprise his role as Mark Darcy and Patrick Dempsey jumps on board as love rival and suave billionaire Jack.\u00a0\u00a0Emma Thompson joins the franchise as Jones’ wonderfully dry, yet supportive, doctor.<\/p>\n
But is Mark or Jack the father of Bridget’s baby? Not even the cast\u00a0or crew knows the answer to that. Three different endings were filmed in an effort to avoid plot leaks.<\/p>\n
Directed by Sharon Maguire, the film takes its basis from the columns author Helen Fielding wrote for\u00a0The Independent\u00a0between 2005 and 2006.\u00a0Bridget Jones’s Baby\u00a0hits cinemas on September 16.<\/p>\n
