Swift went home with winning album of the year, beating out Kendrick Lamar that left his fans fuming. Lamar didn\u2019t go home empty handed, however, winning five awards including best rap album.<\/p>\n<p>Ed Sheeran won song of the year (\u201cThinking Out Loud\u201d), Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars won record of the year (\u201cUptown Funk\u201d) and Meghan Trainor won best new artist. Justin Bieber won his first Grammy this year for \u201cWhere Are \u00dc Now\u201d with Skrillex and Diplo. Other notable winners included Chris Stapleton for Best Country Album and the Weeknd for Best Urban Contemporary Album.<\/p>\n<p>Lady Gaga paid tribute to the late David Bowie in her musical performance, which was both mesmerizing and inspirational. The late Eagles founder Glenn Frey was also given a tribute performance by other members of the band.<\/p>\n<p>Adele also performed Monday night, but due to technical issues, her performance fell flat.
