\"megafest\"<\/a>The International Faith and Family Film Festival is excited to return to MegaFest in Dallas, Texas from August 20-22. The film festival will highlight the impact films can have through positive messages and be presented by a slate of Hollywood influencers.<\/p>\n

Films from the Diversity in Cannes Short Film Showcase will be making their\u00a0second appearance at the festival. These films from across the globe feature diverse characters and stories and display a wide range of faith voices. Other films that will be screened include \u201cCaptive,\u201d \u201cHillsong: Let Hope Rise,\u201d \u201c3 \u00bd Minutes, Ten Bullets\u201d and \u201cWar Room.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Film Festival will be featuring keynote speakers and panelists who represent expertise in all aspects of film making such as production and marketing. A host of Hollywood stars will be in attendance; including Kevin Frazier (co-host of \u201cEntertainment Tonight\u201d), Hill Harper (actor and author), David Oyelowo (breakout \u201cSelma\u201d star) and Robi Reed (Emmy-winning casting director).<\/p>\n

The festival will also feature classes, breakout sessions, and panels between moving screenings. Sessions in financing, TV\/film scriptwriting, and directing have been added to this year\u2019s line-up. \u00a0A panel session held after the screening of \u201c3 \u00bd Minutes, Ten Bullets\u201d to discuss racial tensions and the media will be led by Sybrina Fulton (the mother of Trayvon Martin), Benjamin Crump (representative of Martin\u2019s family and Michael Brown\u2019s family), and others.<\/p>\n
