\u201cThe Messengers\u201d centers around five individuals who die as a result of an earthly phenomenon. When they return to earth as Angels with unique abilities, they must band together to stop the devil who has come to earth to destroy mankind in the days of Armageddon.<\/p>\n

Anna Diop plays Rose Arvale, a nurse who, after a seemingly random act of violence left her in a coma for seven years, suddenly begins to stir. Rose has been given the gift of understanding and has been given a seemingly impossible task: assemble the five newly christened Angels of the Apocalypse and prevent the impending Rapture.<\/p>\n
