I sink comfortably into the couch and toss the blanket over me. I grab the clicker and flip through the channels and land on a program about first-time mothers. <\/p>\n

A few tears take residence in my eyes.

\nI remember being a first-time mom.
\n<\/em>
\nI remember the playgroup girls I started out with that gave me the strength and the support and the laughter and the community.

I remember high school and the girls I started out with that gave me the strength and the support and the laughter the community.<\/p>\n

I remember the women that got me through.<\/strong> <\/p>\n

I remember hitting the streets of Scranton and meeting the college girls who gave me the strength and the support and the laughter and the community.<\/p>\n

I remember the women that got me through.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I remember moving back to my home state as my children started preschool and the women that I met that gave me the strength and the support and the laughter and the community.<\/p>\n

I remember the women that got me through.<\/strong>

\nI remember being a young mother frolicking with her kids at the Jersey shore and the women that gave me the strength and the support and the laughter and the community.<\/p>\n

Now I am divorcing… <\/p>\n

It’s not the adolescent premiere of high school, nor the excitement of college, nor the joy of motherhood.<\/p>\n

It’s not a part of the hopes and dreams we have in life.<\/p>\n

It’s not a place where girls want to meet.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yet, they have. <\/p>\n

I remember all of these women and how they have gotten me through.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I find myself drawn to dig for the moments in the story that are the passion that drive the message. It may be the love of what originally started a business or an authentically motivated personal profile, or simply the love of a subject being investigated which compels me to write. My forever favorite form of writing is the human interest essay or what I call, \u201cAn Interview With Life.\u201d The average day that is explored and somehow once again instills in us a joie de vivre\u2026..a joy of life.
