If you live in Israel, then you have some chance of seeing trees in bloom. If you live in New England, you are knee deep in snow and praying your roof doesn&#8217;t collapse.<\/p>\n<p>If you google Tu B&#8217;shevat, you&#8217;ll find lots of popular suggestions for ways to celebrate&#8230;.plant trees in Israel, go to a Tu B&#8217;shevat seder, put parsley seeds in a paper cup, break your teeth on some carob&#8230;&#8230;Here are 15 ideas you might not have already thought of.<\/p>\n<p>1. Look at the shadow of a tree under the full moon.<\/p>\n<p>2. Make and eat a &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thekosherchannel.com\/tu-b-shevat-salad.html\">seven species&#8221; salad<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>3. Create some beautiful almond-tree inspired <a href=\"http:\/\/www.creativejewishmom.com\/2010\/12\/classic-cherry-blossom-kids-craft-anticipating-spring.html\">art work<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>4. Learn and sing the John Gorka song <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=GCvJ90hs5a0\">Branching Out<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>5. Read <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.beliefnet.com\/homeshuling\/2010\/01\/my-favorite-tree-book.html\">A Tree Named Steve<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>6.
