We don&#8217;t talk about the <i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/search?hl=en&amp;client=safari&amp;rls=en&amp;defl=en&amp;q=define:parsha&amp;ei=gqgFTNn_O8H7lweOrJHXBg&amp;sa=X&amp;oi=glossary_definition&amp;ct=title&amp;ved=0CBIQkAE\">parsha<\/a><\/i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/search?hl=en&amp;client=safari&amp;rls=en&amp;defl=en&amp;q=define:parsha&amp;ei=gqgFTNn_O8H7lweOrJHXBg&amp;sa=X&amp;oi=glossary_definition&amp;ct=title&amp;ved=0CBIQkAE\"> <\/a>at <i>shabbat<\/i> dinner, and if we go to <i>shul<\/i> at all, it&#8217;s almost always after the Torah reading is done. (In fact, it&#8217;s usually after everything but Adon Olam is done.) But if I were going to do parsha with my kids (and one of these days I will. Really.) I would definitely take my cues from the mom who writes <a href=\"http:\/\/parshaprojects.blogspot.com\/\">Parsha Projects<\/a>. She creates, describes and photographs wonderful activities that bring the Torah to life for her children. Best of all, they are the kinds of crafts that are nice enough to want to spend time on, but not so gorgeous as to lead to certain tears. (Mine.)&nbsp;I, for one, get a horrible complex every time I even look at the crafts churned out by&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.creativejewishmom.com\/\">Creative Jewish Mom<\/a>, aka Martha Stewart-stein. (Known that way by me only.)&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><span class=\"mt-enclosure mt-enclosure-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.beliefnet.com\/homeshuling\/assets_c\/2010\/06\/josephcookie-thumb-144x95-14423.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Thumbnail image for josephcookie.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/86\/import\/assets_c\/2010\/06\/josephcookie-thumb-144x95-14423-thumb-200x131-14424.jpg\" width=\"200\" height=\"131\" class=\"mt-image-left\" style=\"float: left;margin: 0 20px 20px 0\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<div>One of my favorite entries on Parsha Projects is the post on <a href=\"http:\/\/parshaprojects.blogspot.com\/2009\/12\/parsha-vayeishev.html\">Parshat Vayeishev<\/a>, the story of Joseph and his multicolored coat. She came up with a bunch of different projects, which they did at her daughter&#8217;s <i>birthday party<\/i>.
