Let’s start with the grown-up books (“adult books” just doesn’t sound kosher…)<\/p>\n

The Boston Bibliophile<\/a> reviews the novel\u00a0The North of God<\/em>, part of the Art of the Novella\u00a0 series, by Steve Stern.<\/p>\n

On\u00a0My Machberet<\/a>, Erika Dreifus shares a review of\u00a0The Last Brother,<\/em>\u00a0a novel by Nathacha Appanah (trans. Geoffrey Strachan) that is inspired by the little-known history of Jewish refugees from\u00a0Europe\u00a0who were interned on the island of\u00a0Mauritius\u00a0during World War II.<\/p>\n

Needle in the Bookstacks<\/a> writes about online access to a variety of rare mahzorim (high holiday prayer books) with plenty of helpful links to follow.<\/p>\n

Ned Beauman (Boxer, Beetle<\/em>) writes about\u00a0anti-Semitism of a complex kind<\/a>\u00a0for the Jewish Book Council blog.<\/p>\n
