Essentially, this means that I know how to pick a good recipe, I know how to follow a recipe, and I can pick which recipes go well together. All of these rudimentary skills worked their simple magic this past week, leading to some exceptionally delicious food for our second seder. Here&#8217;s what we had and how to make it yourself. All you have to do is follow the recipe. Trust me.<\/p>\n<p>1. <a href=\"http:\/\/brewing.cafedirect.co.uk\/2009\/04\/09\/how-do-you-tea-yours\/\">Tea Soaked Eggs<\/a><\/p>\n<p>2. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.epicurious.com\/recipes\/food\/views\/Chicken-Soup-with-Loads-of-Vegetables-40015\" target=\"_blank\">Chicken Soup with Loads of Vegetables<\/a> (Joan Nathan) &#8211; zucchini omitted<\/p>\n<p>3. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.epicurious.com\/recipes\/food\/views\/Fluffy-Matzah-Balls-108012\">Fluffy Matzah Balls<\/a> (also Joan Nathan)<\/p>\n<p>4. <a href=\"http:\/\/nymag.com\/restaurants\/articles\/recipes\/brisket.htm\">Italian Jewish Style Brisket<\/a> quite simply the best brisket I have ever tasted<\/p>\n<p>5. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marthastewart.com\/261290\/parsnip-fries\">Parsnip Fries<\/a> (with local spring-dug parsnips &#8211; as sweet as candy)<\/p>\n<p>6. <a href=\"http:\/\/kosheronabudget.com\/2011\/04\/koab-recipe-exchange-pesach-dessert-levana-cooks\/\" target=\"_blank\">Levana&#8217;s Brownies<\/a> prepared with extra virgin coconut oil and no vanilla<\/p>\n<p>What did you eat? Any recipes you care to recommend?<\/p>\n<p>ps, Zoe totally rocked on the Mah Nisthana. She must have an awesome kindergarten teacher.
