\"Jodi<\/a>I\u2019m going to let you in on a secret.<\/strong> It\u2019s a secret that is really, really good to know, especially during times when you feel like you\u2019re flailing about and have no idea how to take the next step forward. It\u2019s a secret that is extremely helpful when you look around and start comparing yourself to everyone\u2019s seemingly perfect lives and wonder why you can\u2019t seem to get your own life together \u2013 even just a little bit. It\u2019s a secret that has helped me more times than I can even count \u2013 because, as a perfectionist, I have tended to be extremely hard on myself over the years. And once I realized this secret, it helped me ease up on myself and begin to enjoy my life a whole lot more.<\/span><\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the secret:<\/p>\n

No one has their life all figured out. They\u2019re all just winging it.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Seriously.<\/p>\n

No one here on this beautiful planet knows what they\u2019re doing 100% of the time. They may pretend that they know. It may appear that they know. And they may even think that they know. And they may<\/i> know to a certain extent, but if they were being completely honest with themselves, I have a feeling they would realize that they are in reality simply winging it.<\/p>\n

I used to think that those \u201cat the top\u201d had everything all figured out. I used to think that once you reached a certain level of success, you received some sort of key explaining the ways of the world. And it all of a sudden became crystal clear how to move forward, how to live, and how to make your way through your time here on Earth.<\/p>\n

After spending the last few years lovingly interacting with many successful people, I can tell you that this assumption is completely not true. Those at the top don\u2019t have a special key or a sacred map to see how to thrive in this lifetime.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

What I have learned is that while these successful people may not have it all figured out, they don\u2019t let that stop them from trying, from moving forward, from continuing to learn and grow and persevere.<\/strong> They keep going. They fall down, and they get up again. And they keep doing this over and over until something clicks. Until something works. Until they become successful.<\/p>\n

But they\u2019re still winging it. And they still don\u2019t have it all figured out.<\/p>\n

They still make mistakes. They are still human. They still don\u2019t have all of the answers \u2013 not even close. They still wake up in the morning \u2013 sometimes uncertain and sometimes not sure of how they will put one foot in front of the other. They still have no idea what will happen next.<\/p>\n

But they don\u2019t let that unknowing stop them from moving forward. They don\u2019t let it keep them from experiencing life fully.<\/p>\n

And I loved learning this secret. Because on the days when I have felt extra low and wondered how I was going to keep going forward, knowing this gave me hope.<\/p>\n

I found such freedom in knowing how much none of us truly knows. We\u2019re all just winging it. And it\u2019s comforting to know that we\u2019re winging it together.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
