I don’t normally wear scarves, and I didn’t plan on wearing this one. I just wanted it near me – on my desk or in my office where I could see it often. I felt that this scarf represented something so much bigger than the scarf itself. It represented self care, fun, femininity, and joy – all experiences that I would love to embrace and experience more of in my life. I felt in a deep way that, whether I wore this scarf or not, simply seeing it would help remind me to invite these aspects of myself back into my life again.

It’s become a magical scarf, in a way. Not magic in the sense of hocus pocus and abracadabra, but in the sense of reminding me of how powerful I am. It reminds me that I have the ability to change my life. I can choose to continue living without self care and joy, or I can choose to invite them in. When I see this magical scarf sitting on my desk, I am filled with excitement for what’s possible and love that I am part of such a beautiful world that allows me to create whatever experience I desire.

I find that absolutely exhilarating and completely amazing.

I would love for each of us to experience this opening to the possibility – this reminder of what’s possible in our world.

So, if you would like to play along, I invite you to find an object that represents aspects of yourself and of your life that you would like to feel more of and experience more of – such as love, excitement, joy, self worth, beauty, etc.

You may know right away what the object is. Or, like me, it may surprise you and show up when you least expect it. If you stay open to receiving this symbol, it will come. I believe that with all of my heart.

You could even ask the universe to send it to you. And then be on the lookout for it.

It could be anything: a pretty absolutely non-practical scarf (like mine), a gemstone, a painting, a flower – any token that represents the YOU that you would like to embody.

Once you find it, I recommend putting it where you’ll see it often – where you can touch it and take its energy into your heart. Really allow yourself to experience what it means to you – what it’s showing you is possible. And then begin to invite that possibility into your life.

Since bringing my scarf home, I’ve taken much more time away from work and given it to myself. And while it’s still new and I’m still in the midst of receiving all of the gifts that it will continue to bring into my life, I can feel myself changing from the inside out. I can sense that I am beginning to shift and remember these parts of myself that have been forgotten. I am beginning to embrace the magic that this object is bringing into my life.

And I would love for you to do the same with your magical object – your token of love.

It has the potential to be life changing if you’re open to receiving.

It’s my hope that you are open and that you do receive and that your life from now on is filled with never-ending magic.

Hugs,

Jodi

Jodi Chapman is a bestselling author, an award-winning blogger, and a soulful community builder. She lives her life with love and faith in the driver’s seat, and she hopes to leave a trail of inspiration wherever she goes.
