Am I chasing MIRACLES? YES!!!! I want so many things – so many dreams for myself and the world.<\/p>\n

My NAKED truth is that my life is my message, and that isn’t easy to accept.<\/p>\n

I’ve spoken before about confronting oneself naked in the mirror \u2013 and learning to love what is. The spiritual intellect provides a context for compassion and understanding, yet often the challenge is in embodying these ideas, and going through the experiences life will no doubt hand out with equanimity. It is human to fall, and then come back, to go out of control before coming back into equilibrium to the middle way that is to be strived for.<\/p>\n

In the winter months, I tend to hibernate more, and with age, many people experience their body shape changing. When I look in the mirror, I compare myself to what I looked like a couple of years’ back, and see something \u201cless than.\u201d It’s easy to feel good about oneself when the body feels in tune, and balanced. What if you’re sick or worse, debilitated? Then loving yourself becomes challenging and the gifts that the body usually gives, are less obvious. One of the paths to healing is to love all of it \u2013 the pain, the suffering, the grievance, the discomfort \u2013 choose to love it.<\/p>\n

I find it easy to find imperfections with the world and get angry and upset about it. There is a lot of noise out there. As a sensitive person, I can easily feel victimized by life. I know I have a lot to contribute to the world, yet when I go out there, I often feel uneasy.<\/p>\n

When I apply for jobs, I’m often met with little or no response. A lot of us have these experiences, not just me. It is easy to conclude that the world is a harsh and unloving place, and get frustrated.\u2028\u00a0\u2028So how does one become empowered and live at the cause and not the effect? I believe there are many answers \u2013 and it’s key to be aware that you may not be able to change the world. Yet always you can change yourself and the way you choose to see the world.<\/p>\n

If nothing else, we can learn from our experiences. I can acknowledge that sometimes I need to reach the depths before I can climb myself out.<\/p>\n

When there is no rain forest left, will the birds still sing?<\/em><\/p>\n

If we create the world, then we should always look within for answers. When we see something outside of us in the world, ask what is it telling us about who we are?<\/p>\n

If someone judges us, we are judging ourselves. If someone rejects us, we are rejecting ourselves.<\/p>\n

If we want to experience love, then it is a state that we create through loving ourself and our experience. The world presents a mirror. These lessons are not easy to accept. It’s easier to blame others. I do it often. Now I promise myself to ask, \u201cHow did I create this \u2013 and how can I heal that part of me inside that created that?\u201d<\/p>\n

We can always expand our hearts and expand our love. Love is endless…All it requires is choosing it \u2013 choose love over war, love over anger, love over retaliation.<\/p>\n

When we have a grievance, how do we choose to react?\u2028\u00a0\u2028Perhaps it’s easier as a free spirit to grapple with these questions as we grow and age. Time is always moving, and life always changing.<\/p>\n

We each have a place in existence \u2013 everyone has something to appreciate.<\/p>\n

Gandhi provides an answer that really touches me deeply – “My life is my message.”\u2028<\/em><\/p>\n

The biggest commitment I can make is to value myself.\u2028 I always have the ability to choose my response. I choose this as my miracle!<\/strong><\/p>\n
