You will forget everything.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You start at the beginning with no instructions, and the rest of your life, you are tasked with remembering who you are. You start from nothing, and at the end, all you get to take with you are the lessons learnt.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cThe world is its own magic.\u201d<\/em> ~ Shunryu Suzuki<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>2. You will get a body, hopefully in decent\u00a0working order.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Your body is borrowed. At the end of your life, you don\u2019t get to take it with\u00a0you.\u2028So treat it with care whilst you have it. It\u2019s your most valuable possession. Treat it like a gift, a resource for you to use to get the most out of life. If you treat it impeccably, it will serve you well for the longest time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. What you do with your life is up to you.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s your choice what to do, how to feel, and what to create with what you have. You are never a victim. Imagine your life as a canvas; it\u2019s up to you to fill that canvas with the things and people you most care for. If you change, the world changes. Beliefs are the most powerful weapon in your arsenal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. You are here to learn lessons.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As you \u201cevolve\u201d on your path, the lessons may become harder and harder. If you don\u2019t learn the lesson, it will keep coming back into your life until you do learn it. In the end, everyone is successful from a spiritual perspective.<\/p>\n<p><strong> 5. Don\u2019t give up!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s guaranteed to get hard, yet you are not alone in this. Suffering is part of your assignment. Learning equanimity and patience will help a lot.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Every choice you make takes you on a different path.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There is no wrong and right path, every path you take is a choice, and will take you somewhere. Even if you feel it\u2019s not the path for you, and you have to go all the way back to the beginning again. It\u2019s an illusion. You\u2019re not the same person who left in the first place. Every decision changes you.<\/p>\n<p>You may not realise today, yet in a few years time when you look back, you will be amazed at how circumstances magically worked out to take you where you were meant to be.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.&#8221;<\/em> ~T.S. Eliot<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>7. Accept the darkness and the light.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Within other people contains an element that is within you as per a holographic principle. If you hate something too much, perhaps you\u2019re rejecting that part within yourself? We call this our \u201cshadow.\u201d Learn to accept all of you including your shadow.<\/p>\n<p>When you suppress or reject a part of yourself, you will feel stunted. In maturity comes greater fulfillment of who you are.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cAnd you? When will you begin that long journey into yourself?\u201d<\/em> ~ Rumi<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>8. Understand the benefit of perspective.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>How you view the world is everything. If you look for dark, you will find it. If you look for light, you will find it. If you think it is good, it will be good. When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at are changed.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;One\u2019s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things.&#8221;<\/em> ~ Henry Miller<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>See the world with new eyes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>9. The most important thing is to love.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Your choice is to choose love over fear every time. That\u2019s the most important thing you need to know. <em>Love is all there is.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>10. Enjoy the journey!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t sweat the small stuff or take life too personally. There is always a big picture and the world doesn&#8217;t revolve around you! Life is one of the greatest journeys imaginable.<\/p>\n<p>You don\u2019t &#8216;pass&#8217; or &#8216;fail&#8217;\u2014you may as well enjoy the journey, and no need to take life so seriously by the way. In the final analysis, there is no failure.
