{"id":166,"date":"2011-02-11T00:54:53","date_gmt":"2011-02-11T00:54:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.beliefnet.com\/haveamagnificentday\/2011\/02\/be-careful-what-you-ask-for-you-may-receive-it.html"},"modified":"2011-11-28T00:24:21","modified_gmt":"2011-11-28T05:24:21","slug":"be-careful-what-you-ask-for-you-may-receive-it","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/columnists\/haveamagnificentday\/2011\/02\/be-careful-what-you-ask-for-you-may-receive-it.html","title":{"rendered":"Be Careful What You Ask For, You May Receive It!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080\">Life is so interesting.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000080\"> You can want something so badly and then when it comes you push it away.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080\">Sometimes our minds or old patterns of behavior (mostly fear) get in the way of success.\u00a0 Just when an opportunity finally presents itself our minds over-analyze the situation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080\">We come up with logical reasons why something isn&#8217;t right.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000080\"> We find something wrong with another person or a situation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080\">In fact, we are actually sabotaging our success.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000080\"> Just when what we want is right in front of us, we do not allow ourselves to have it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080\">Now sometimes something is definitely inappropriate so we make a wise choice by letting it go.\u00a0 This is different than what I am sharing.\u00a0 I am referring to when something is right for us but we do not allow ourselves to have it.\u00a0 We create a reason or situation that sends the opportunity away.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080\">This is because we do not have a strong enough belief that we deserve it or are worthy of it.\u00a0 Our fear overrides the potential gain or benefit because our lives will expand in a way that we are not comfortable with.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080\">It requires courage, belief and faith to achieve greatness!<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000080\"> You have to get past being uncomfortable and the fear.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman\"><strong>&#8220;I dissolve in my own mind, and in the minds of all others, any idea that my own good can be withheld from me.\u00a0 That which is for my highest good now comes to me through God&#8217;s grace and in perfect ways.&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080\"><br \/>\nsmiles,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000080\"> \ud83d\ude42 Lee<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000080\"> <em>The Mega Coach<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u00a0 <strong><span style=\"color: #000000\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Life is so interesting.
